Cedar
View Park:
Located on Charles City Road close to Highway 218/27 and the
by-pass. Camping, with gravel pads, lakeside view, no reservations,
$15.00 a night for electric and $12.00 for non-electric. Showers,
restrooms, playgrounds, two docks, three shelters, skate park,
volleyball courts, horseshoe courts, plenty of extra parking.
There is also a public beach for swimming. On May 7, 1958
this land was purchased for $10,000. It was formerly farm
ground. |

Lakeshore
Park:
Located
at the end of Lakeshore Drive. New Dock, picnic area, restrooms,
entrance to 8/10ths mile long walking trail with wild flowers.

Cannon
Park:
Located in the 100 block of Sample Street. Picnic area, playground
with an overview of the lake. On November 13, 1913 G.T. Greeley
and Eva R. Greeley of Cook County, Illinois and Carolyn McCandless
Greeley of Butler Co, Pennsylvania and on December 13, 1913
O.A. Anderson sold to the City of Nashua a parcel of land
for $1000.00. This is now Canon Park. It was to be used at
the Town Council's discretion which also included Chautauquas.
It was first called Cedar View Park. |

Veterans
Park:
Located by the dam on Hwy 346. Fishing, flag display, Army
tank and cannon are located here. |
